Questions regarding my plant and it's potential strain.

Hello fellow growers,

So this is my first grow and it's working out quite well so far. I definitely have a female and am thinking about using her for cloning. I have some question's about genetics and also nutrition.
1st -Genetics- I believe that the seeds came from a bag of "purp" ganja, having said that...my friend gave me the seeds so I cant be 100 percent sure. In the picture's I've posted you'll see that there is alot of new growth (i recently upgraded to a CFL set up running something like 9 or 10 thousand lumens and she's loving it) and all the fan leaves on the new growth have a purple top and green bottom on the stems. The older fan leave's have this as well, it's only more prominent now because of all the new growth. Is this a good indication that she is in fact a purple strain?

2nd -Nutrition- I've done extensive reading and research, reading forums and "grow guides" and other things. But I haven't come across very much info when it comes to taking care of cloning plants. I'm going to start cloning soon and if it turns out she is a purple strain then I'd like keep her for a bit, so i can perfect my growing techniques with some good bud :). Anyone advise from you experienced growers?

I am not sure about the "purp" stuff, but isn't some purple from cold temps?

One thing I do know that you should be keeping your lights a lot closer and maybe trying to put some of those cfls on the sides of her too... You are getting a lot of stretch and if that is a sativa you are going to pay for letting her do that, especially in the end... The new foilage looks great though man and I am sure that it will only get better!
