Using Bat Guano Tea as Fertilizer... or Nute pack??

I have 10 pounds of Carl Pool (10-3-1) bat guano I was going to mix in to my 10 tons of dirt to amend the soil.... My plants are all about 3 - 4 weeks old so I will soon be transplanting them outdoors. Just finishing filling up all my holes with dirt. Heres my question: I got spooked when adding guano to the soil and transplanting into a 5 gal bucket with the amended soil, I definately over fertilized killing the test plant - no biggie... Have never used bat guano before. Do not feel comfortable mixing it with all my substrate soil to keep from contaminating/over fertilizing... I figure I can just mix up some good ol bat guano tea. The reason I ask is because as I said, do not want to harm the plants by being stupid. I figured to start I can give them a very diluted solution. Online I have been reading 1/2 tablespoon per gallon. So I figured at 1 & 1/2 to 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water this should be a good range to start. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this? Does it work well? Or should I just purchase the fox farm soil nute trio? I was planning on purchasing this anyways, start using toward middle of may. Your personal input would be really appreciated. I promise I will start a sick ass log VERY shortly.
