Leg hair test after smoking three months ago.
Okay, so I went for a drug test today and the lady told me that, not only are they going to do a hair test, but she is also going to take it from my leg. Well...I smoked the last time a little more than three months ago. I smoked lightly about a month or so before that. I had no idea that they would take it from my leg so I didn't prepare. I'm 6'3" and 195 lbs. What are the chances that I'm below cut off (for Quest Diagnostics) with my smoking history?
My apologies if this is already somewhere out there in a thread, I just couldn't find something that matched my scenario all that well.

The rule of thumb is 3 small smoking sessions in 90 days if your hair is atleast 1 1/2 inches long. The reason they took your leg hair is because your head hair must have been too short. Most testers look for a sample length of atleast 3/4 of an inch to test. Given your smoking history I would rest easy, you didn't smoke enough to surpass the cutoff thresholds.

Well that's certainly a relief. Made my weekend less stressful at least. I'll post next week if I pass or not.
BTW, what exactly is considered a small smoking session? That has always been an elusive definition for me.

A small edible, joint, or bowl. I would say no more than a 1/2 gram.
