Dilution Question + what do you guys think
Hi I am about 5'11 150 pounds with a fast metabolism, I am a very infrequent smoker. The last time I smoked was last week Wednesday at around 2:00, its been a whole week and I have a drug test tomorrow. Some smoking info about me. I smoked last Wednesday once, I hit a pipe maybe 2-3 times and I don't think I got that high. Before that I smoked a blunt with some friends on the weekend and the weekend before that I smoked 2 blunts and a bong. I have had HEAVY HEAVY exercise in the past week. I recently bought 3 drug test and all tested negative but the line was extremely faint. Do you guys think i'll pass? I mean they say those are 98% accurate and I got a line no matter how faint so that means im negative.
Also I am taking a Labcorp drug test tmw which I am assuming is going to be a urine test. I am planning on doing the dilution method. I am going to take 4 81mg asprin tablets 4 hours before the test. Then proceed to drink the 2 8oz gatorades 4 hours before the test and continuing to drink them every 15 minutes for an hour. Once I start pissing the clear urine im going to take 2 crushed up daily multi vitamins/minerals. And take last take home test that i bought. Do you guys think it will work? And do you fellow vets have any tips or questions about my plan? Thanks!

If your passing your home tests with the first void of the day then you should be fine. As for dilution, the aspirin no longer applies to today's testing methods. It was used some time ago to deter one type of test that is no longer around. Again is say "If" you are passing with the first void of the day.. then I would cut your fluid intake in half and substitute gatorade for water. No point in getting a negative dilute when your clean. If your not passing with the first void then following the full dilution regimine is definatly necessary. I hope you also began to load creatine, this process must be done 3-4 days before the test.

hey deige thanks for the info! I never checked my first void to see if i passed, when I checked it was both mid day and I drank a little bit of water before. My urine was not very yellow so I think it was diluted a bit. Later that night I tested myself again. My urine was very yellow and I still got a faint line. Its 10:08 AM right now and I haven't ate anything, so I am going to wait until i have to go to the bathroom naturally and test my 2nd void. If my 2nd void passes would you still recommended the dilution with half the water intake? If i don't pass should I do full dilution or just half still? Thanks for the feedback.

I just took a home test kit on my 2nd void of the day using FIRST CHECK Home marijuana testing kit and I got 2 lines without drinking any water or eating anything, but the drug line is extremely faint, you can barely see the purpleish/red color, BUT it is a line! What are your guys thoughts on this? I know it means im a weak negative, do you think LabCorp will check further and if so should i continue the half dilute? I don't think the full is necessary. Please respond asap! the test is in a couple of hours!

I would follow the half dilution method and substitute gatorade for water. If you can pass the home test you will pass the lab test. Lab testing is not really as extensive as most think and surprisingly the home test kits are very reliable.

Thanks again deige your a life saver, if i could meet with you in real life i'd smoke you out like mad! I read that if you could photograph the line then you'd be safe and clearly in my picture you could see the line! I am still going to go with half dilution method with Gatorade and crush up the multivitamin i have sitting right here. I feel a lot more confident now and being that the earlier voids in the day tend to be earlier I don' t think i'll have a problem later! I'll post later after the test to let other members know how it went out!

Hey guys! So I I recently took that drug test and its almost been two weeks and I still have not gotten a call back from LabCorp. Therefore I am assuming that I have my drug test came back negative. THEREFORE meaning that you can get clean in 7 days while smoking somewhat frequently like once or twice a week. Thanks for the advice and I hope this thread helps someone out there in the same predicament I was.

I am 140 pounds and 5'3". I haven't smoked since Jan. 3, and it was only a couple hits from a bowl. I had to take a drug test last week and it came back negative dilute. They called me and said I have 24 hours to go retest. I took a home test with my second urine of the day today without drinking a bunch of water and it came back negative with a slightly lighter pink line than the others. What are the chances of passing the test in the morning? This is a pre-employment test. Please all advice accepted and wanted!!
I should also include that I took a home test before I went for the first test and it came back negative, but I drank a TON of water before that test.
Should I not drink the water this time??? So worried!!!:(

Drink gatorade instead of water, if I'm not mistaken, I believe I read on this forum that the gatorade has a lot to do with urine sample being considered diluted. Also don't forget the take the vitamin b12 or b complex pills for color and load up on creatine atleast 2days before your test. A low creatinine level is a big indicator of being diluted.
Background info of myself.... I was going to nursing school in 2008 and a mandatory drugtest was required for students before clinicals/intership at the hospitals. I had boought some detox drink at GNC, took a home test, and failed. I was going nuts, failing this drugtest would have kicked me out of school and would have ended up with a school loan to pay off. I even considered buying a whizzinator. Thank god for this website and experienced pot smokers... I tried the dilution method, passed with a home test.... a few hours later, went to the lab and gave my sample. Never received any calls from school or the lab so I passed!
3 years later here I am, just joined this forum to provide my input. Am still smoking almost daily. I haven't smoked for 3 days because I have a preemployment drugtest anytime this week (Hospital job).... did the dilution method last night, tested myself... NEGATIVE!! Ill be sure to udpate u guys with my results!
