Raise water level and can add 5ml per gal H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide). Just the plain old stuff you get at Walmart or any drug store in the world will work
also check your rez temp to make sure your not cooking the roots with warm water
Kelp makes my roots a light brown. Like liquid Karma. Do you feed them organic stuff?
Well see the color of the hydroton rocks. Kind of looks the same to me. That is also the color of my nutes mix. In a drip system it looks just like that but not in a bubbler or DWC because the water doesn't pour over the rocks.
If it's drip it maybe too much, cut back on drip times.
One more thing you may not want to hear. Root Rot from being too wet.
Or worse cyanobacteria. It looks like rot but if very diff. Anything you do for rot makes bacteria worse.
