When a full grown plant pops out of whatever is hiding it a good way to make it less tall by tying it at an angle. Has no effect on your yield. Instead of a tree you have a hedge. A plant can be trained to grow in just about any space given. If you are willing to take the time to train it and don't pull it over too fast (little at a time) it can be easily done.
If you have a wide shallow area you can plant the pot at an angle and get a head start on your tilt.
Doesn't make and difference, any strain can be angled.
You've got several methods in controlling your plant height. Everything from supercropping (which involves snapping branches/stems) to trimming to tying down can be done, it's all dependent upon your purposes.
For example, I'd tie a plant down if I want it to spread out, and to help accomplish this I combine trimming the top off with a couple of days of growing to allow me to get side branches large enough to tie down and begin training. This does increase the density of the plant, however, so you want to make sure you have light penetration to get into the denser parts of the plant.
If you took a starting sprout and tied it down after 3 or 4 nodes without topping, you won't get so bushy.
Results and mileage will vary.
i already have a plant growing and i just found out about lst... i want to maximize my yeild, and from the looks of it this lst stuff really works..

hey mj, you have plenty of time still. i don't even start to tie down until late veg, early flower.
Your girl looks like a clone. Very nice kekei. I realy don't think that needs to be pulled over. She is branching quite nicely. I think she will turn into a big round bush all by itself. Also clone roots are not as strong as a plant from seed. So if you must, be slow and carefull.
What would I do? Don't top her. Just keep repotting her or put her in the ground. Sometimes the best way to maximize yield is to do nothing except give her what she needs to grow big and happy.
she is not a clone, germinated from seed i found in my bud, at the time it was gods gift, ive been topping it since it was about 6 inces tall trying to get that bushy type of plant so i guss its working :DQuote:
