Keep moist but not wet. Just don't let the soil get dry. Too wet and you can get root rot
yep! :thumbsup:Quote:

Thank u!!
Keep the soil moist, but not soaking wet till first transplant. (in a couple of weeks after seed breaks ground)Quote:

Root growth additives are unnecessary...unless talking about a humic acid product, (leonardite) in which case I'd reluctantly agree.
I have actually had alot of success with root additives. I just added a roots accelurator to my baby clones that were not moving much....within a day or two of adding the roots....they shot up a few inches! The stuff I'm using is pretty good but there are other things on the market that have worked well for me also. Microblast from earth juice is a good one also!Quote:

Hmm. A little dab of rooting hormone is all my clones get, and they seem to do fine...but my seedlings don't even get that. It's not a miracle. It just works.
Looking at the ingredients list of the EJ Microblast, it reminds me of a quazi-synthetic molasses. To protect their "proprietary formula" or wnatever...I'm guessing it's a modified molasses. Same as many "elitist" additives/nutrients some folks swear by and pay through the nose for. (unnecessarily)
If you have a few minutes to read-up on molasses and it's relationship with nutrients, and how this has been taken advantage of by marketing firms of quite a few of the more expensive/popular nutrients. ..it's well worth the time and effort. I guarantee it's important to at least be exposed to this info whether you agree with my statements or not.
What you do with the info is up to you, but I saw this article floating around the cannabis sites many years ago and paid no attention, (there wasn't even a Wiki back then) as it seemed to be written while stoned and seemed...weird. But in an effort to keep it simple and inexpensive...I pay more attention now.
Anyway, the Wiki about molasses:
WikiAnswers - How does molasses make plant blooms bigger
The Horticultural Myths link in my signature is pretty informative, too.
