Your plant is a screwball? :wtf:
weird
Honestly I don't imagine the screwball leaf or 2 means anything,... You might get a bunch of leaves like that on that plant, I would have to think it's kinda like a 4 leaf clover, the clover patch is a single plant, and there's a genetic anomaly that makes it grow more than 3 leaflets per leaf.
If it's a concern destroy it, but I wouldn't be worried.... Maybe you have the first of a new strain!:rastasmoke:
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Do more leaves look like that or just the one? Do you have a pic of the plant?
I have had leaves on my fan leaves not grow in, or is significantly smaller than the others. This has happened quite a few times (grown 20+ plants)
I wouldnt worry about it.
--- looks a little weird, but the plant should stabilize. What is the 'age' of the plant right now..?
No worries now!! He started showin' bananas day-before-yesterday and went for "a ride in the country", but I did find these pics. He was about 6 or 7 weeks old. You can see tha some leaves had either a smaller middle leaf, or two tiny ones. Of interest as well, the malformity occured only on the main sun leaves, and on every other node.
Hell!, I dunno.... it just kinda reminded me of my cousins kids!!

Just wondering if I should start a new thread for another leaf problem, or just ask you guys about new growth being yellowish in the middle. Seems like they get their color back as the leaves get bigger. I've been giving them botanicare nut's at about 1/4 strength with miracle gro every 10 days or so. I'm gonna go take pics right now, so you can see them later.
See how the new growth is light green, nearly yellow, but the rest of the plant is a nice green? As soon as they get a little older, the leaves get darker. I'm wondering whether I've fed them out of it, or if they don't need to be fed at all?
