The Federal Reserve

Don't know how many people here have an understanding of what the Federal Reserve is. Its basically a privately own bank with virtually no government oversight that prints and backs our currency. Actually they don't back it, we do with our taxes paid as interest to them. Thats another story.
Here is an interesting letter I read from one of the founding fathers of the Federal Reserve Bank.
I suggest people take a little interest in the fed because they are the real reason we are where we're at economically in this country.

Colonel Edward Mandell House is attributed with giving a very detailed outline of the plans to be
lemented to enslave the American people. He stated, in a private meeting with Woodrow Wilson

vileges.
This will inevitably reap us huge profits beyond our wildest expectations and leave every American a
tributor to this fraud, which we will call “Social Insurance.” Without realizing it, every American will
nowingly be our servant, however begrudgingly. The people will become helpless and without any

The easiest way for a normal citizen to help is just get rid of all your bank accounts. Deal in cash. If you need to send a payment off for a bill use a money order. Cash out all your 401k's and mutual funds and invest in a good safe and hide it. Anything you can do to help banks collapse will be good. The citizens will never be able to do anything about the federal reserve. That is completely up to congress to deal with and they won't be dealing with that for a few more decades, if ever.

Yes, a lot of people don't know about the Fed. It's the Fed that holds the key to most of our problems today..Not the government. I'd disagree with the idea of cancelling all your bank accounts and only dealing in cash. That's pretty impractical for most people. The fact is that we're a digital economy now and can't really get off the grid quite as easy as that.

Aaron Russo did a pretty good film about the Fed. One of my favorite lines form the movie is that 'the Federal Reserve is no more a legitimate function of the government than Federal Express'.

Anyone wanting to know a bit more about how effed up the Fed and our current regime of bankers is should read Greenspan's book, The Age of Turbulence. For someone who once hung out with Ayn Rand, he should be ashamed of himself, not to mention strung up by his thumbs with piano wire.
