I met John Monad there at around 11:30. NMNORML, SSDP, and a couple of other tables were set up. Not many people were there but one of the producers was. I left at around 1:30....there were people talking about a meet and greet afterwards around ....4:20....LOL! Met some nice people there but no one from the board except for JM. When I left another group was coming in to set up a table, I believe they were representing one of the local ink/piercing establishments.

I know that people have things that come up but honestly, I thought that the turnout was a bit poor. As a new person to this whole realm, I really thought that there was going to be a bit more support.
Just my 2.5 cents on that.......
I realize that this forum is a fraction of the people that have any concern about this subject....however, the organization, support, "getting the word out" was pretty poor in my opinion. (Not intended as a "DIG" on anyone here....but more of an observation of how the whole thing transpired for the time that I was there).
I also realize, after talking with the NMNORML and SSDP folks, that there is apparently a big turnover with folks in those organizations. It was a nice day, good weather, and I met a few folks that are really nice. I am glad that I got to see JM and his friend there.......
The folks from SSDP apparently moved to Roosevelt park and that was covered on Channel 4 in a brief 20 second clip the other night. Kudos to them for at least getting SOME television coverage.
Rant mode off.......:)

It's just too far for me to go without help.
