Questions!

Jiffy pots, yay or nay? Some sources seem to feel it's the cat's meow, others say it renders the medium too acidic...which is it? :confused:

To my pals who have built their own LED grow lights, what's a good source of power LED's? Since I'm stuck with the crappy Made in China UFO, why don't I refit it with the appropriate LED's?

For one, you wouldn't be able to refit the LEDs on that panel. It's a sealed all in one panel inside. Also, since the manufacturer isn't telling you the voltage and current the diodes need, you might get the wrong powered diode and either blow your drivers or blow the diodes.

As for Jiffy pots - meh. They do okay for seedlings but they suck for clones and such.
