GUERRILLA- basic info/outdoor drying/water transport

Been growin a while, thought this might help someone. These forums are cool as shit (im sure a lot of this stuff is already on here but just encase...

I live in a fairly rural place but there are neighbors around and i dont have my own place so, obviously, i have limitations. I dont want to end up in shit so my rule is "eliminate as much risk as you can." you gotta take risks if you grow but theres no sense in risking any more than you have to. consider Murpheys Law.

Basic grow info:
+if the soil at your site has decent water-retaining properties, you dont need that much potting soil per plant. most of the nutrients should come from fertilized watering. make a small mound for each plant so they dont drown in heavy rain.
+If your soil doesnt hold water well, dig a hole big enough for a big bag of potting soil and put a layer of clay at the bottom to help hold water. if you cant get clay, use tarp and punch a few holes in it.
+when preparing site, dont toss soil everywhere, its very noticable, especially from the air. when digging. throw soil on a tarp then shovel it back where your want it, that way all land around plant looks natural.
+fencing (use fishing line around trees) mothballs work too (deer hate the smell)
+move germies from paper towel to soil with clean tweezers (dont touch them!)
+pests (i do organic so i use praying manti and other predatory bugs)- if you have to use pesticide use something made for edible plants
+Watering-- dont water if soil is moist near surface (the plants do require that oxygen reaches the roots once in a while
+don't top your plant till its 4-5 nodes high (i combine topping and pruning so it gets real bushy) (but sometimes a single cola is best)
+get organic soluable fertilizer (high nitrogen in vegatative) (high phosphorus in flowering) get something with trace elements too though .if you use time-release fertilizer, only use it once (right around 5th week of veg) so youll be able to FLUSH SOIL before harvest [that is very important]
+CUT DOWN on trails, manmade impact, unneccessary walking around as much as you can (the idea is for people to be able to walk right by (or fly right over) the site w/out it jumping out at them)
+if you must, for some reason, keep manmade objects out at the site, paint them flat camo and throw some branches over them. If wanna go high tech, burry a trash can and transport dirt away (making a secret compartment)
+have an explanation of why your walking through the woods prepared (like birdwatching-take some binoculars) so if you run into someone you wont be so jumpy.

Thats what you should do for a basic G grow, other than that, just THINK about all your options before you start.

My major problems are 1. watering 10 full size plants a mile away during a dry spell and 2. drying the buds outside. So I have come up with these contraptions to solve those two problems. DONT attempt if your bad at making things. ill try to explain the best i can and post drawings but its probly going to take some common sense.

1.WATER TRANSPORT UNIT- Supplies: some black straps and black duct tape. Two 3-5 gallon (slightly flattened) containers. Epoxy. Pipe and fittings + faucet to fit + 4-5' flexible hose that fits faucet.
--Rig straps to hold buckets and make a pack that goes over your shoulders so that one container hangs in front and one hangs in back. fit pipe to the side of the bottom of both containers so that when you open the single faucet, both containers drain through the hose. this way you can just walk along with the pack and water your plants. (fittings will differ depending on container but epoxy is a great sealant) also make sure the pipe is attached to the BOTTOM of the container so it drains out. PAINT IT FLAT CAMO

2. OUTDOOR DRYING UNIT- Supplies- paint trash can Flat Camo. (1) 1'' threaded I-hook with 2 washers and 2 nuts. (8) 1/4'' threaded I-hooks with nuts and washers. Epoxy. window screen. black duct tape. damprid moisture absorbtion packs. rope and string.
--Drill hole in middle of bottom of trash can and tighten 1'' I-hook so the eye is coming out the bottom of the can (seal with epoxy). Spread the other I-hooks out around the bottom of the can with the eyes facing up into the bottom of the can, opposite the origanal 1'' hook. (seal with epoxy) Flip can upside down and hang buds inside on small I-hooks. hang moisture absorbtion packs inside can with buds but dont let them touch. Duct tape screen over the bottom of the can, hoist up into tree and let it dry.
