Hey I'm a complete noob when it comes to growing.... My friend told me he could get me 10 reg seeds for $5 or 10 kush seeds for $10... I've never grown before so i'm a bit nervous ... He told me the reg grows like weeds ( no pun intended ) so should I get the reg cuz it grows better? Btw my only option is to grow outside and I live in AZ
sounds like bag seed which ever you choose....i'd say give me 5 for 2.50 and 5 for 5 and compare which is better...true kush comes from the kush moutains in afghanistan so i be a little skeptic about that but get some beans and have some fun...if you are growing outside now is the time to start and you will have some nice trees goin....in Az you might want to find a place that gets a little shade during the beating summer heat when its 125 down there...and water them good during that time:thumbsup:
I gotta agree with stra8. This is your first grow. It will be a total learning experience. Try a few of both. See what does better. If you make mistakes (and you will) you will soon find out what works and what doesn't. Next year you will be better and learn what corners you can cut and ones you can't. Give it a shot. Be carefull and you will do fine.
see if you can track down Rusty Trichnome on this site, he is also in AZ and has lots of exp in high heat :thumbsup:
Thanks guys.... I'm gonna get a few of both..... Also, since i'm planting them in my backyard behind my shed is there any way i could stop them from getting too tall? Thanks again for the help :)

the easiest is to tie them down ...LST...their is a good thread on it...and when the first days of 12/12 start you can apply Bushmaster and it will really inhibit the stretch...also it will increase yield and put them into flower mode faster:thumbsup:
Whats the closest i can plant them together... my space is kinda limited as you can see lol
