Day 46 pics... am I on track?

OK, here's just a few pics.

I've had some major problems including spider mites, fungus gnats, and root aphids. The spider mites were easy to wipe out, but I think the root aphids have irreversibly damaged my plants. They started to yellow very early.... one Mr Nice was entirely yellow by day 25 and had to be killed. I know my yield will be impacted, but I think the smoke will be great!! I think I may have enough to not need to buy anymore from dispensaries until next harvest, whereupon I expect dramatically increase yields due to my new awareness of root aphids.

Anyway, these are day 46. How does the level of yellowing look to you? I'm wondering how much is due to late flowering yellowing and how much is due to root damage. I know it's hard to tell under the HPS... kinda pointless I guess.

Also, how do these look for you in regards to bud size? Am I on track or does it look like they're stunted from root damage? Most of these are 65-75 day strains except the LA Confidential (55-60 day), which I plan on taking in exactly 2 weeks.

OK, here's a couple pics of my yellowing. These are sour diesels (70-75 day) and Mr Nice (70 days) and they're almost entirely yellow now at day 46. The small sugar leaves still appear to be green, but it looks like on Mr Nice even the sugar leaves may be slightly yellowing.... the Mr Nice was definitely affected by root aphids, but not sure on the sour diesels. I think they were as one has slowed down significantly on the amount of water it needs.

OK, so this one is closest to harvest. It's on day 46 and I plan on taking her at day 56-60. So, only 10-14 more days. What do you think?

I keep waiting for the calyxes to swell, but they just don't seem to be growing much. This LAC was definitely affected by root aphids. It started yellowing early and now it's slowed WAY DOWN on drinking. I watered 7 days ago and it's still not dry as usual!!

Here's some quick snaps of the Purple Kush cola and the Headband cola....

Both of these plants seem to be fairly healthy and weren't hit that hard by the root aphids. Let's hope my treatments worked on the aphids!!!

Any feedback is welcome, but I'd really appreciate feedback from experience growers who can comment on bud development..... does this look like good development for day 46?

This has been a rollercoaster ride for sure!!

they look just fine. be careful of cutting them too soon though. always keep in mind that the majority of your end weight comes in the last 2 weeks of flowering. it looks like most of your pistils have turned red so pay attention to your resin color. do you have a magnifying glass to get a good close look at them? you want them to be milky in color. if they look amber the thc level has hit its peak and will be losing its potency soon.

Thanks! That's encouraging to hear. I just checked the trichs the other day, but it's just REALLY hard to do with a pocket microscope!! I need to order a 30x loupe off of Amazon right away!! They have 'em for like $2-3, whereas they're $15 at the hydro shop nearby. Anyway what I could see was all clear still. I like REALLY stoney so hopefully at least 20% amber!

I wouldn't worry too much about your babies....they look great! A little yellow in the leaves, but your buds look tasty! let us know how it turns out! :jointsmile:

if you're down with the stoney i'ld shoot for 50%-60%.
