Hi everyone!!
I've been growing MM for a co-op here in Los Angeles for 2 years, hydroponics mostly but am well versed in both. Recently, I decided to quit said co-op primarily over disagreement over the way it was managed.
In any case, after quitting the co-op I found myself with 2 years of tremendously valuable experience that I still haven't been able to put back to use. With legalization in the November ballot, its only a matter of time when there are more people who want to start a MM grow of their own that actually have the knowledge and time to do so, and they will be looking for people with the skills, knowledge and availability to help them out.
Problem is right now the only openly and consistently sought out MM related occupation I can find online is for female dispensary receptionists. Seriously. There is a huge MM talent vacuum. A skilled grower such as myself has no concrete path to being matched with a person in need of said skills.
Is this because of all the supposed gray areas in the current laws? as in, do people think it's not a good idea to advertise for help because it could get them if trouble? Is it just the nature of what we do that makes people wary of finding help online? Do people even consider looking/finding help online at all?
Would love to hear some thoughts on this and if anyone knows of a good way for me to find people who need helps growing MM I would love the help, otherwise I'm going to take it upon myself to make an online home for people looking to work/hire in the california MM industry.
Thanks!!
