Anyone know how long it's taking to change caregivers these days?

I had asked that question for a different research project. However, when I returned to Montana from Florida, I found out my caregiver is no longer in "the business" (since MT puts your name and address on the back of the caregiver's card, it would have been nice to receive a post card at least)
So, on 22 March, 2010, I sent my Change of Caregiver form in.
Still waiting...
This really sucks. If I were from another state with approval, I could go to any caregiver for my medicine.

Hello! sounds like you are having a hard time getting meds. I travel to my property in MT on a regular basis so if you are interested in trying some different meds I would be willing to drive your way and let you check it out. I have my card in 4 different states and am grandfathered into 3 others, MT being 1 of those 3. Are you by chance on MT Norml website, if so i am on there too. i was taking care of a patient that was south of you near St. Regis till he pasted from terminal cancer, i actually meet him through that website.
well i hope things go well for you either way it does suck that you have to wait though..... :hippy::rastasmoke:

I guess people need to stock up before changing..lol Glad to hear you got it tho..
Thank You. Very definitely, stock up for a dry period if changing caregivers. I didn't know my caregiver had stopped until I got back to MT from Florida. A rather abrupt finding since she has my address on her card and could have let me know!
