Cheap idea for great magnifying glass...

I've been broke lately and it's my first grow, so been trying to save every penny i can.

After searching thru my old photography equipment i noticed i had a 'slide viewer' with 8x magnification. I have a bunch of poster tube around from collecting posters and such, and just popped it into the end with some tape to secure it.

The effect is a small tube you can use like a microscope that is not too intrusive to the plants.

i just picked up a 30x loupe on ebay for like $3.99

I was actually able to take some decent magnified pictures of hairs and such by shoving this contraption onto the end of my digital camera.
