the strain we grew years back that had red juice was a GOOD Black Columbian back in the mid- 70s, is it possible?

Aloha.
We have a strain here that when a branch is cut it bleeds a reddish sap. A few years back I bought 20 clones. All were suppose to be NY Diesel. One plant however looked nothing like the others and grew tall compared with the rest. It grew tall, with long narrow leaves. It got you stoned as hell, and the weed had a fruity taste. A friend identified, while cutting clones, it as a strain of Bloodweed. We made clones of the clone and bred it with a White Widow male. Result we called Bloody Widow.
The Bloodweed we now have bred into a few other crosses. Whenever it is bred with a shorter smaller plant the offspring go very tall and yield is increased measurably. I looked at your pic and the leaves look like it. I would make a clone of two and see what mom smokes like. It is a strain you might want to keep around. :D
I'm jealous I want some bloody widow

Daddy,
Good response?..Black Columbian?..not only a very cool exotic name?..but a distinct possibility. The thing that I didn??t mention is that the seed is from a local guerilla grow from now (26 years ago). So that??s about mid 80??s.
I spent about ½ hr searching Black Columbian and came up empty?.so if you had anything to add?..I??d be interested.
Another interesting point is that it only bleeds red when young.

Zardly,
No?.no coco?.just a mother (hopefully?you remember the last time?5 of 6 males) in potting mix. I flowered two to see what I would get?.and I like em??. I guess that it??s pretty unimportant to give them a name?.but then?.why not!

I only get a fluid bleed?.whether clear (all others that I??ve seen) or red on this little sweetie when young?.the stems don??t bleed at all at harvest. Same for you???
