well, i knew it was comming a must read for dispensaries

if your not familiar with whats going on in redding ca right now,

a few days ago the city of redding enacted a 45 day moratorium on MMJ dispensaries and collectives. since then, they have called in the DEA, FBI, IRS and a couple of other agencies, and the dispensaries are being raided and the owners being charged with criminal charges, including running criminal enterprise and tax evasion. rumor is that cities such as anderson, chico, oroville,marysville/yuba city, sacramento, LA,san Fransisco,ect are next on their list. the feds and DEA have been walking in these dispensaries and buying mj right and left with their "recommendations". they are only targeting the dispensaries and collectives, NOT the actual patients at this time, but from the info floating around in redding, the feds and DEA are collecting the patient info of of the books of people who have purchased supplies and MMJ from them.

it all boils down to EXACTLY what i was talking about before. dispensaries and collectives are going to be the fall of legal MMJ in california. these "dispensaries" are selling large amounts of MJ at stupid high prices,way over "street" prices, which equates to millions a year in revenue in their pocket, when they are supposed to be completely "non-profit". in another thread i figured up what the average dispensary pulls in in sales, selling a pound or two a week at the THEIR prices, and that equated to close to A MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR and most dispensaries are selling WAY WAY more than i figured. thing is, alot of these guys think that because MMJ, dispensaries and collectives are "legal" that they can just sell pot indiscriminately . well that isnt so. ill guarantee you that the feds,DEA and IRS will find LOTS of faults and reasons to arrest and charge the majority of dispensary owners now that the balls rolling. even though obamas people have been told to "lay off" legal MMJ PATIENTS, they didnt say a thing about the dispensaries. dont you think that with these guys making millions that the feds havent just been waiting and watching, letting these places get rolling and start raking in the big $$$$$, and ready to go in and seize their shit and shut them down/arrest them?...sure they have! hopefully they have accumulated their profits instead of screwing them off, cause id almost bet they will be spending them on legal defense in the near future!

nothing against legit dispensaries, but the majority of these places are just street level pot dealers whove decided to bring their business indoors under the guise of being "legal under the law"....BAWHAHAH!

now, please DONT take my word for ANY of this. check it out yourself. maybe start (if you live in shasta county) by driving around and looking at the hotels parking lots. theres one in particular thats LOADED with those black "fed cars" with government plates.

And I thought they were screwing with dispensaries in Butte county, at least they didn't bring in the feds.

We need to push back. How many of us could they possibly arrest? Can you image what impact we could have if all of our collectives united?

the problem is that the damage is done. these fools have been visiting the dispensaries for quite some time, and the ones that are/were F'ing up are already on the shit list, so it wont make much of a difference i wouldnt think. fighting the feds,DEA and the damn IRS is virtually impossible bro. plus, whos got that kind of money?

problem you run into is that its the CITIES AND COUNTYS and not the state, so youd have to file lawsuits in each and every county against each city, and if it were me, id get everyone together and ask for class action status. if you got shot down on the city/county level, then you could appeal it to state court.

And this is why I sell lights, not medicine. I can keep patients able to supply their own medicine and not run afoul of the law. Plus, I advance growing technology so we get better medicine!

Of course, if you can get them while they're already gathered in groups, you have better success chances.

shit, to gather stoners, all that one needs to do is to walk up to a likely stoner habitat, pull out a fatty and light it.

These dispensaries, openly making all the money, is what prompted Arnold & other politicians to suggest that the state start growing pot.
Its also leading to legalization of non-medical use, & taxation.
Why blame them?
