Looking for a doc (psychiatrist)

Hello everyone,

I found this board a couple of days ago and reading the posts here has given me some hope.

I suffered a very traumatic experience a year and a half ago and have been having a really difficult time coping with this experience. I have been on zanax for anxiety for about nine months and self medicating with any legal thing I can find. Using the pharmaceuticals is really bothering me as I feel they are truly poison. But whats a guy to do.

Anyway i believe I could be suffering from PTSD. I don't currently see an analyst so I am looking for recommendations for a psychiatrist that would be willing to work with me to get MMJ. I live in Rio Rancho, but anywhere within a couple hours drive would work.

I seen where bedrockbob says to call around and and tell them exactly what I am looking for. I guess I just can't handle the thought of being treated like some loony looking for a high. So I was hoping to start my search with practices who might be sympathetic to my issue.
