Ok, I'm staying out of the political threads here because evidently, cannabis makes you paranoid and nutty... Who knew?
I've got a few ER seeds germing right now, and I'm snagging a "little woody" box from a friend who had to uhh, leave the culture due to circumstances beyond his control vis-a-vie the law 'n shit.
Should get the box soon. I have been reading about cultivation, but other than the basics I have no idea what I'm doing. Should be fun to see what happens.
I'll get pics up as soon as I sprout.

Welcome to the club! Give us some more details about your grow man. What kinda lights do you have? Is this a soil grow? How are you sprouting the seeds?

Well what exactly do you wana know? you gotta be specific... What i can tell you is no mater what you need constant air flow, light, and water with a PH of 6.0. If its a lil grow box make sure you got some computer fans 1 blowing in and 1 blowing out. make sure the temp doesnt get any hotter then 80 degree F and no colder then 65-70. preferably no lower then 70 if you can. get timers for your light cycles and keep constant watch so you can research and fix any probs that might pop up. Wow, thanks for the quick replies, guys. And they say we're lazy...
Its going to be soil, under CFL. The box has some PC fans built in, and I'll have it on a timer. I'm germing in a mug, actually. Its a tiny mug, with tap water that I let sit for a day or two. Its on top of my water heater and it seems to be going well. I just checked and one of the seeds (only 2 germing right now) has popped and a little bit of green/white is starting to emerge, just barely. I decided to try straight water first with just a couple beans, because I've read about decent results. That, and I got impatient and didn't have paper towels.
So my next step is picking up some soil. I've got some small pots and trays, so I'm good there. But I am a bit unsure of what to do after I sprout. I know to plant it, obviously. But I've looked at a lot of the guides and I don't really know what kind of lighting, or how much, to use until its ready to veg. And I'm a bit lost on the necessity of the doming and whatnot. I thought maybe I could plant, then set the pot into a bigger pot and cover the larger pot with saran wrap and put it in a window. But I could be wrong. Its happened before.
