Recently purchased a Gen-2e Electronic Ignition Natural Gas CO2 Generator for my room and have a few questions for those who have used a CO2 Generator.
Where is the ideal spot to hang my generator?
Any safety concerns I should be aware of?
PPMs, how many for veg? how many for flower?
what are the ideal temps/humidity ranges for CO2 use?
room specs, 2k cubic feet, 4 1k lights, sealed room, sentinel controller.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have a cap gen1 propane generator.You either buy expencive meters and monitors or like I do. My gens on one timer(digital) the light on another timer, exhaust fans on another timer all digital. Mount the generator up twards the ceiling as the co2 is heaverier than air so it falls.go to this sith and culculate how much co2 you need for your size of room CO2 Calculator - Greentrees Hydroponics . After you figure how much you need for your room and howmuch the gen puts out you set the timers up accordingly. I have mine set at top of the hour my fans shut off and 1 minute later the co2 starts and runs 8minutes the 2 stay off until 30 minutes after top of the hour giving 21 minutes for the co2 to absorbe and fans come back on untill top of the hour startes againe. get a ppm tester and ckeck co2 every now and then.PPM you should add about 1200 normal air has about 300 so togather would give you 1500ppm.
Heat is going to rise when co2 is put in, Mine go up 10 degrees or so It dosen't bother them as long as they are taking in co2 and humidity lowers with the heat. You may want to keep track of the ppm in the run off in the trays when watering. Good Luck

Should I let the temp rise with the CO2 or keep it at it's current 76f degrees.
I heard that CO2 gen add heat and humidity, I have a dehumidifier, Should I let the humidity rise or keep it at it's current 45 to 55 range?
Is 1,500 ppm the max I should attempt with my garden, what is the max I can safely push.
