Shit...tore off a cotyldeon leaf
I'm sure you've all been there, seeing your poor seedling trying to break free of that 'film' that surrounds the embryonic leaves even after the seed casing has fallen off. I took a tweezers to mine this morning, trying to slip off the thin film like a sock. It came off great but took one of the cotyldeons with it. Think my baby can still make it? I mean it still has one of them so there's the energy source and I even se the very small nub of the first blade leaf. Should be ok, right?

Some seedlings don't seem to mind abuse....others, get a little runted for awhile...others may die....just have to wait a see...:thumbsup:

just dont overwater seedlingsthey hate alot of water i found out letting things dry out a little more than your confortable is always best but i think it should have a problem

Seedlings actually love moisture. Thats why some people use humidity domes to sprout their seeds. You want to keep the soil fairly moist until the plant has established its roots (takes about a week), then start it on a watering cycle.
