Rogue DEA agent Jeffrey Sweetin is quoted in the newspaper as opining â??Itâ??s not medicine.â?� Sweetin probably is not trained or educated as a physician, and his opinion is directly contrary to the will of Coloradoâ??s citizens, a majority of whom decided in 2000 that marijuana is, in fact, medicine. Sweetin further comments in the article:

compliance with the law.

doesn't this all seem to be a natural part of this process? pot enforcement $$ is a huge part of the DEA budget. It pays salaries.

Likewise, the LEO interest in restrictive legislation, getting rid of dispensaries forces a black / grey market, which is something they can use to justify their budgets.

We should enact legislation that diverts all of the LEO MJ enforcement money into LEO pensions or benefits. Something they can personally benefit from. Place the greed where it needs to be to benefit our community, because those dollars are lose / lose now.

i don't think that would stop them they are power hungry and they love control on top of all the money they steal..as long as it's just all hot air on the movements part nothing will change but only get worse for us.
