From the information you've given, you're doing everything right.
It's the VAST amount of info we still need that is causing the problem. Fill out the troubleshooting form, the link is in my sig.
1) Type and wattage of lights. 2 6500w
.2) Distance from tops? 12 in
.3) Reflector type? i took off foils just today, thinking might be burn.
.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply?fan
Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil, miracle gro
.9) germinated, poorly transported seeds.
10) Source of water? (tap, bottled or filtered) various bottled water.
watered every due to soil getting dry quick.
11) Method of checking water ph. none
nothing else added
20) What size of closet, room or hut? box in bathroom
21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? 70, 60 at night
22) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom? no
23) What strain are you growing? strawberry blunt and unknown indica strain, only the strawberry blunt are having this problem
I take it you mean to say two 23w or 26w 6500k CFL lights...? If that's what they are, you'll want to get 'em to about 2-4 inches from tops of the plants. If not...disregard previous advise till we know what you're talking about. ;) Would plan on getting more lights, too. Any plans for the approaching flowering cycle?
Cannabis in soil needs a wet-dry cycle. If you keep the medium (soil) saturated, the roots will suffocate, rot, and then die.
With soil consistently saturated, spraying is unnecessary and can compound the problems from overwatering.
Would find out your tapwater ph at the very least. Freshwater aquarium test kits work great and are cheap. You'll want ingoing water to be between 6.3 (very lowest) to 6.9ish.
Bottled water isn't necessarily better for your plants and it's ph isn't buffered, usually. A ph test kit, and an aquarium TDS test would help determine that. Could be cheaper in the long run to find out more about your tapwater. Many types are even drinkable.
Your temps are also a little low, not low enough to really harm the plant but enough to stress it a bit, probably stunt growth a little.
This is great advise. I found this out when i bought a test kit and my tap water was 7.2 so i bought some distilled water and mix it 50-50. The ph ends up @ 6.5.:thumbsup:Quote:

Try watering only when the soil is dry to the touch 2 inches down with your finger.
I water every other day when i get off work.

will get out and get ph meters..
thanks a bunch guys!
Another thing is that i have used MG organic and ive had problems, such as Gnats, root rot, as well as nute defficiency.
If its the only soil you can get your hands on i would recommend keeping an eye on it everyday as Gnats come from the soil (you might be luck and not have some) As well as when you repot make sure to add pearlite, (i like 30-50 %)
And another this is try Googling Hydroponic stores around you, they have everything you need to make this grow successful.
MG attracts no more gnats than any other mulch, potting soil or compost. Extra perlite does keep the soil from retaining excess moisture though.
