In the name of all things holy, please give me reason to be calm

Hey guys, I am fairly certain that I am going to come out in the clear here, but I am stressing myself out ridiculously and I hope you can help.

I am 5'9" around 200 lbs, in good shape, and exercise about 4-5 times a week.

The last time I definitely smoked was two months ago, and before that around 4 months. In between that time, I was hired for a job and told everyone about it. I have been looking for a long time and this was an incredible relief. Obviously, I needed to take a drug test. To assuage my fears, I bought a First Check test from Walgreens and came up negative. I had very little to worry about. I had the test scheduled for this past Thursday. The Saturday before that, I went to a party. There was a hookah there, and I love hookah, so I took a few deep puffs. After I had passed the hose, I was informed that they had put a little bit of weed in it, at the top. They told me that it had all burned off by the time I got it, and I never felt high, although I was drunk, so I may not have felt it.

The next morning I was terrified. I proceeded to go to the gym every day for 1-1.5 hours as I usually did. On Tuesday, which would have been 4 days after I "smoked", I took another walgreens test after going to the gym, the pee was yellow, and it was negative once again and a relatively dark line. I felt content with that, continued working out including the day of the test two days later, 5 days after "smoking". I didn't dilute or anything like that, and felt good enough about it going in.

Paranoia has caught up to me, and I can't kick this feeling of worry. This is the third business day, and I haven't heard anything, even though I emailed yesterday (not directly asking the results of the test, of course). I honestly can't think of a much greater shame than losing this job. Can THC from cashed weed enter the bloodstream? Or am I freaking out over nothing? Help!

Never mind...just found out that I passed. You will probably laugh at this folly anyway.

Dude, congrats and lots of hope your stress level is down! Yes, we all have had that dreaded feeling, and know your "pain". LOL Glad all is well for you. Keep your stress level even and you will live longer to smoke more !:jointsmile:
