Going out of town for 2 days

I will be going out of town for one of my best friends bachelorette party! I have been doing my light schedule manually the past few weeks due to faulty timer. also been having trouble with the portable ac/dehumidifier. So basically i wake up at 6am every day and turn the lights and a/c off and then at 6pm i turn everything on. I have my personal alarm set to be sure and not miss a beat!

My question is what the hell am I going to do for those 2 days??? I don't have the time to really get a new timer and trust that it's going to work by then. And I don't really trust any of my friends to get to my house every day at 6am to shut it all off and again at 6pm to turn it all on....that's a huge favor to expect from someone.

I'm about 3 weeks into flowering and I was wondering if I should just keep everything off for 2 days. What would happen? I've done this before at the end of the flower stage (last few days before harvest). But I'm not sure how it will affect the plants while they are in the middle of flowering.

Please help with any expert advice!!! I can't miss out my friends party but I don't want to blow all the work I've got going on so far!!! I've got 4 beautiful blue dreams and 4 wonderful white widows....

You could get a small cheapo timer and a couple of cfl's for reasonably cheap, and set those just to keep your light schedule right. Look in the clearance sections at walmart or home depot, i've seen $5 timers there. Small worklight fixture for about 8, couple splitters, and a few bulbs should come in around $30. Just one guys idea.

IMHO it would be better than leaving lights off for 2 days, can we say hermies?

You might be okay for a couple days (with no lights), but I like Irydyum's idea better. Just make sure to have (at least) a small ventilation fan kick on with the lights in case they might build up too much heat in the flower room.

You don't need a lot of power; tell your plants it's going to be a little overcast...;)

I'd probably use 6500K CFL's or tubes rather than the usual red flowering spectra--it's the blue light that tells your plants it's "daytime." You won't add any bud mass with them, but at least your photoperiod will stay on schedule.
