Flower late winter, early spring?
Was wondering if I put my clone that's under 12/12 indoors, outside now & it would continue flowering? There's about 13 hrs of dark now (outside) and the cold's over (60+ F night). It's been in 12/12 for 2 weeks and buds are just now forming. Also I know how to harden off the plant into full sun and growing outside, just not the sun cycles really and if the plant needs the summer/autumn or if the flipside would work if introduced already flowering...

Pic is of it a week ago, I've transplanted it into a 6" pot & it's still stretching about 1" a day = too tall for my current indoor setup. It was taken just to get sex of the little budding bonsai mother. I've since decided to keep it and it's too late for me to ScrOG or LST the plant or whatever to keep it a small canopy like usual.

I would say it would be too cold anything around 60 will slow growth for sure then were talking possible bud mold but I could be wrong. It would be easier for you to bring it to my house lol.

Hah, I would if I could but that's quite a drive! It's 70s to 80s during the day with maybe 10hrs in the 60-69 range...One good thing about the concrete desert: doesn't stay cold for too long.
I accidentally left her under the light for 15hrs today because work went long. I think after it sits in dark today and over night, I'll toss her outside in a shady spot to start getting acclimated.
I'm letting a friend borrow my indoor stuff so he can learn, so she's either going outside here by the 15th or in the mulch because he's just taking the KushBerry x Skunk mother. I've got the perfect stealth spot and everything...

Well if ya got 13 hours dark and 11 light, i dont think it would start to re veg, but i believe that would be the only issues. Worst case you can alway take it back under your lights. Plus that sun is going to be better then any other light you can give em. Plus its a clone, so any cycle your worried about, you can say that its already been through it. So basically your only finishing its life cycle. Iv also heard of people who worry their plant are going to start flower in 18/6- veg. You got 4 extra light hours if this would be the majority thinking. Unsure there:jointsmile:

Yeah, I don't think the light hours will be up to 13 until it's supposed to be done in about a month and a half so I don't think it'll reveg either. I went ahead and tossed her outside yesterday around noon, it was an overcast day and no rain, perfect transition for her, so I took it as an omen. In a place that gets 350+ days of sun a year consistantly, you gotta take advantage of these "freak" days lol. I'm not at home, but later toay I'll check on her to see if she survived. I put 1/2" styrofoam around the pot to insulate a bit, and she's in an orange tree that's partially shading her from intense light for now but I'll trim it back once I know she's doing well.

Survived her first night and first full day of partially shaded sun beautifully. On V-day I'll probably trim back a few branches from above her to let the beauty really shine.
I'll keep you posted as to how she progresses through the backwards sun cycle...I'm guessing it's not as good but might still work, otherwise there'd be more info about it (like my recent experiment with cloning autoflowering strains). As I said before, she's just an experiment really & I wouldn't mind mulching her if it doesn't pan out.

After its looking comfortable outside, id get a couple bags of good soil and plant it in the ground. That thing could get huge. The roots would really take off in fresh soil, while sparking the top growth.
Just my thought. I do Bonsai and after a re pot they always take off, thats why i re pot my outdoor grow 2-4 times before they go into the ground. Works for me. Oh and those temps are no big deal, mine are growing in fall at those temps just getting ripe:rasta:

I'd love to be able to get it in the ground, but situation demands a more "out of sight, out of mind" approach.
I wasn't sure on temps, we don't normally get this cold until early to mid november so things are usually out of the ground. Thanks for that.
She's looking to me to be growing more pistils so budding seems to be continuing so far which is good. I might toss a pic up when the flowers are a little bigger.
