This is posted in the Science section why, exactly? Psuedo-science like this really doesn't have any real-world correlation to global warming, either.

After what has come to light in the past few months, anyone still believing the global warming thing is a head in the sand, tried and true idiot.
Then again you might be an idiot and beleive everything you see on YouTube but I won't hold it against you.Quote:

If you don't want to accept AGW then that's fine, it probably doesn't sit right with your world view.
That doesn't mean its going to go away.
I would love it if I woke up tomorrow morning to find out that Climate Change wasn't real - it would be the best day of my life so far, but I don't see it happening.
Here's a page on Hoagland and his bat-shit-crazy ideas:
Phil Plait's Bad Astronomy: Misconceptions: Richard Hoagland's Nonsense
For anyone who IS interested here is a Q & A session with Prof Phil Jones - the chap at the centre of the so-called 'ClimateGate'.
You might find his answers of interest:

Its not whats GOOD about the hexagon, its that it is still there. It shows there is another dimension of physics that we have not fully explored yet. It shows that this hexagonal form is showing us how the planets were formed. Not by just gravity, but my some sort of geometric phenomena. Now, I would say it was just a bunch of b.s., but seeing as this phenomena has been seen throughout the entire solar system, I don't think we can right it off.

Also, if people really do think we have had an impact on the Earth's changing climates, they, like Sarah Palin, are fucking retards(its satire, lol watch Steven Colbert) but, the Earth has been changing climates constantly(slowly but constantly) for millions of years, just because we happened to have formed during one of those climate changes doesn't mean we can stop it. We can make it happen slower I guess(but something happening over a couple thousand years seems slow enough to me) but we won't stop it, and those that think we CAN stop it, again, are fucking retards(again, satire)

I am a liberal independant, and proud to have a more reality-based viewpoint on the issue than wingnuts like you who spend so much time on forums spouting bullshit conspiracy theories spun from whole cloth.Quote:

Then again, you may be a teabagger, so in that case strike reality and facts from your mind and go back to listening to Beck, Palin, and the other mental deficients on Free Republic :)
