Just A Couple Of Questions...
ok so i just started my first grow about 3 weeks ago and im just wondering how i am doing...i cant upload any pictures that ive taken for some reason...but i will just explain. My biggest girl is about 4 inches tall now and rapid growth just started like 2 days ago so i think shes in veg now..and she has about 5 nodes and is aroun 4 to 5 inches tall with pretty big sized leaves...just wanted to get some input. and i was wondering how much yeild i might get..using 3 24" floresence, really good soil...and feeding them with 6.3 ph water with nutrients, and heating them at a steady 78 to 80 degrees, oh and i might be getting one more maybe two more florescents im a little broke right now...how much will that bennifit me.
also how much light does a plant in veg like with my budget of course. thanks all.

A plant wants the Sun, so as much light as you can get on it. But if i were you id be doing some reading, because i can tell you have not tried to teach yourself anything, or you wouldnt ask these questions. How could someone guess your yield w/o so much info, then, still no one could really tell you your yield. Read, its you best answers on here. After that, you can as a question that will make since to you. Im not trying to be a smart ask, just trying to help
Good luck:rasta:

i dont know if they are male or female im just hoping on female...i just wanted some feedback its my first grow and its exciting and im nervous as to how i am doing. i have been doing some reading i was just looking for an answer from someone who maybe used the same set up as me just trying to get an idea...im excited. i do have on question though and its probablly stupid but what is a nute...its the beggining of the flower right...and im just heating the closet there in because sometimes the temperature in my house dips below sixty so i figure i will give them some temperatures that they will like.

Nute is short for nutrient. I tried growing like you are a while back, honestly you won't really get anything with those lights-they really suck. Those spiral cfl (compact fluorescent light) bulbs are better, and HPS or MH is best. Plants need a LOT of light really. Right now this grow will be more of a learning experience than anything. Don't worry about yield, just get to know about the plant and it's behaviours, read as much as you can, look through the grow logs here ;), and save up if you need to. Your best bet for no budget is growing outdoors but if you're like me and in the city then it can be hard to do that unless the stars align for you. Key things to focus on for growing indoors are:
1. Space-Where are you going to grow? What's the size?
2. Light-How big's your space? How many plants will you grow there? What's the height you have to work with?
3. Ventilation-How much heat do you need to get rid of? Where are you going to exhaust to? Carbon filter? Aircooled lighting?
4. Growing style-SOG, ScrOG, natural, LST, topped, FIM
5. Nutrients
5. Results-How much are you planning on getting out of this? You can adjust variables like lights, plant count, style, and even space to meet your needs. But you need to understand those variables first.
Good luck, & stick with it! It sure is a great hobby...
