I need HELP!!!!!!! Seedlings are dying

I'm in serious need of help. First off - I'm a legal MMJ Card Holder.

I've tried several times to grow my own medication and everytime my seedlings die off. The seeds are good quality and they are rooting in discs using a green house effect. I have them under a 400 Watt Metal Halide Light and the temp is steadily at 78 degrees. I get the two round leaves and then get the first fan leaves and they grow to about 2 to 3 inches. After that point they die.

I have a watering schedule of every 2 days after I take the film off the top of the grow cylinder. They are about 2' under the light. Everything seems to go alright until they get to just about the top of the glass I have the disc in then they turn yellow and die.

I have a batch of Clones coming in this week an really want to have everything dialed in before I get them so I don't just kill everything.

I've tried using tap water and distilled water (separately) when watering and I get the same results.

Please help!!!!!!!! I'm open to try anything at this point!!!!!!!

is that 2 inches or 2 foot under the light. if its 2 inches you are burning them to death.

even 2 feet may be too close depending on conditions

After the first two true leaves come up, take off your humidity dome. They need some fresh air.

Yup, start off at at least 3 feet with that kind of light. You can even get by with some 23w CFL's (<one for each plant) or even one T5 for the first week, but these lights must be kept close to the seedlings to avoid stretching.

Yeah, I'd say this is the most likely suspect.

Try using some CFL's like BigTop suggested. I noticed when I switched to MH from CFL's I was burning the heck out of my babies the first few hours because I still thought i had cfl's. I'm still learning. DON'T GIVE UP!:hippy:
