Sometimes I get INSANELY blazed.. why lol?
Ok, so I have the same green (mids) and I noticed something today. One day I will smoke a bowl and just have a good high.. like im in a good mood and chill and can go play some xbox live or something fine without getting a headache. Then the other day I smoked a bowl of the same stuff and didnt get that high.. idk it was weird lol.
Anyways today I smoked a bowl (but this time I did it different.. I broke it up very good and all of the pieces of weed were small and stacked up nicely) .. so I smoked it and the first hit DESTROYED me lol.. I was coughing for like 5 mins. So I took a couple more hits and it was the exact same. So anyways like 5 mins later I am completely tripping balls and was high as hell. I was almost starting to feel sick because I was so blazed and I tried to just go to sleep (idk why lol) and it took me like 30 mins because I was so dizzy and just straight up fucked up.
I woke up 6 hrs later and was feeling completely normal. Does anyone have any advice as to why I got so damn messed up? Was it because I worked early in the morning? Was it because I broke up my green really good? I didn't know breaking up the weed would make such a huge difference, if thats what it was at least.

I'm of the Opinion that whenever you take a big hit and you start coughing, that's what does it. The more you cough, the 'higher' you get. I don't know why, but I've tested this myself over the years and it always seems to be true.
Try it again the next time you smoke. Take a hit that's big enough that it makes you cough and cough really hard!! I'm quite sure that you will be high as hell. At least compared to when you take a gentle hit and blow it out clearly.
Anyway, that's just my humble opinion.....

I think might have something to do with it, I've noticed that I get a completely different high when I'm kinda tired. Most likely it's a combination of things, the coughing idea that durameter said, along with you getting up early, topped off with a good hit sounds like that would fuck you up haha. :cool:

More air plus more surface, it makes sense that broken up weed gets a better burn. It doesn't make it more potent, but you get more smoke that way.
Only thing coughing ever did for me was make my throat sore. ;)
I definitely think time of day and restfulness or lack thereof are factors on how the high feels to someone. I noticed a long time ago that getting high in the early morning produces a much different high for me than later in the day or evening. It's my favorite time to blaze and I usually do it right after my first cup of java. :D

I get those days where you just cant really get high and it sucks. I think it's that and I love grinding my weed up especially mids! It makes it much easier and makes it cherry a lot better.

I strongly believe it does. I remember one time many years back when I'd been up for three days (don't ask why please) and a friend offered to smoke a bowl with me. I got so high I was damned near hallucinating. I've noticed a strong synergistic effect even when I wasn't that tired, like at the end of a long hard day of work.
