Leaves going yellow and brown patches can you please help me?? Pictures attached
Hey have been growing this plant for about 3 - 4 months now, using sunlight, have noticed that new shoots that are coming out are slightly yellow and there are brown spots (see pics below) I am guessing it is a nutrient problem, can anybody help me out with what I need.
I had an infestation of what I think was spider mites and have been using the dilated dish wash spray to get rid of them, it seems to have cleared up now but there are still a couple lingering round.
I have recently re potted adding compost to the soil.
This is my first time growing so not too fussed on how the plant ends up but would obviously rather it be healthy and potentially be smokeable.
Any help would be great, thanks!

how much dishwashing soap did you use and how long ago did you spray?
did you check your ph after re-potting?
how much are you feeding, and how often?

I used a very very diluted amount of soapy water.
Havnt checked the ph yet, I'm guessing there's gonna be a problem with that though.
I'm using an inorganic feed using about once every 2weeks. I think I need new food for her though I think.
Should I chop all the dead leaves and partial dead ones??

dead ones ya...
but leave the others until she eats the rest of the green in them, she\\\'s using the nutrients stored up in it. i\\\'d wait a week or so and pull the others then.
get youself some sticky traps and kill that mite infestation!
:)

How many drops of soap per gallon?
Feeding once every two weeks doesn't sound like enough. If you feed every other time you water (a good base for feeding), you should be feeding once a week, assuming you have decent drainage in your medium.
The dying leaves I can only assume is a Ph problem, unless of course you're putting too much soap in your mixture.
It might be a good- no, great- idea to fill out the troubleshooting form in my sig.

Ok so I just did a PH test and its around 6. What should it be around?? Also how often should I be watering?
These are the ferts that i have been using.
One is fish emultion stats are, N-9%, P(as water soluble)2%, K(as phosphate)6%. Havnt used this one is a while but recently been using,
Yates Thrive(Maximises plant health)stats are as follows, N27%, P5,5%, K9%, not sure if I should be using this seeing as the N level seems far too high.
I live in Australia so if there are any suggestions on what I should be using for fert thatd be greatly appreciated.
Please reply a.s.a.p please.

I'm not an expert on nutes, but from those two choices Id go with the fish emulsion.
as for watering, there are two simple rules to follow. water when the the top 3 inches of soil is dry, and when the bucket feels very light (you'll need to feel it when its dry and wet to get a feel for it, but the difference is significant). when you do water, you should see a decent amount of water come out the drainage holes... this way you'll know all the soil got wet. you should also feed every other watering.
what did you test for your ph??? if you tested your source water, 6 is a little acidic.
Please, please, please give this article a once over. It will answer all your ph questions. http://boards.cannabis.com/plant-pro...hy-how-do.html

/\/\/\ I need to elaborate on that /\/\/\
Using those two methods, you should be watering approximately every 3 days. I also just noticed I dont see any perlite in your soil, Which I can only assume means your drainage isn't too good.
The problem is, I don't know what you can do about that now, with your roots bound up in that stuff. anyone else have advice on adding drainage at this point?

looks like you have a few things going on but the yellowing is a n deficiency.your ph in soil i believe should hang anywhere from 6.2 to 7 or so i believe 6.8 being the spot to keep.you need to get your "n" up for sure that will fix that problem.now the brown spots on the end of the leaves that looks to be nute burn.many things can cause this also, like spraying your plants down with nutes or water and the lil droplets of water act as magnifying lens and this can cause burns in direct sunlight.but it looks to be nute burn.
hope this helps
