What Vaporizer Should I Buy?
Hi All: I am new to the forums and also new to vaporizers. I am in the market for my first vaporizer but, need a little help. Should I get the V-tower or the Extreme Q? I am more interested in using (I believe you all cal them) the whips rather than the balloons. My friend has the V-Tower and likes it. Both are around the same price see links below. Also any tips on use would be appreciated.

If you're primarily going to be using whips, you should check out Da Buddha and the Silver Surfer.

The V-Tower Extreme and the Extreme-Q are the same thing?
I read on Extreme Vaporizers - Multi-purpose Hot Air Machines - Extreme Vaporizer and V-Tower Vaporizer that there is no Extreme V-Tower. It is just the V-Tower which has no remote and no balloon options.

As stated above, if you're more interested in whip vapes and not balloons, I would go with da buddha or the ssv which are better because they specialize in doing one thing. The Extreme is a "jack of all trades and a master of none".

Definitely go with a DaBuddha or Silver Surfer if you want a whip style vape. If you want a bag unit, then I recommend the Volcano or the HerbalAire.
I would only get the Extreme if you really needed both of those functions.
But you haven't told us what characteristics are most important to you in a vape..
Monster rips, efficiency, durability, aesthetics,or convenience?
Once we know more of what you're looking for, it will be easier to guide you in the right direction.

I too recommend Da Buddha if you want to use a whip.
If you are a former smoker, and you really liked the ritual of rolling a joint, then I recommend you check out the Vapor Genie. It's a vaporizing pipe that requires some amount of fiddling with. I used it for about three months as my first vaporizer, before I moved to Da Buddha, and I was very satisfied. It's only around $75, if you want to give it a try; if not, then go with Da Buddha. You won't be sorry, and even if you are, it will pay for itself in a few weeks or months. :D
