You have a 1000w on a few baby plants?? :wtf: From what I see its an HPS light which is terrible for veg, MH is so much better, you will get a real problem with stretching using that in veg. HPS should only be used in flowering. Go out to your local home depot and go buy some 60 watt CFL bulbs (maybe 4) and shine those on your plants until your ready to go into flowering. Give it atleast 30 days from seed. Good Luck!
Actually, these, being autoflowering dwarves, spend most of their lives in flower, and have already shown sex at right around 10 days. When I run out of autos, I'll be switching to 2 600w switchables, vegging for a while under MH, then using HPS for flowering, but that's when I'm running regular strains.
Good stuff man the light looks great, does it matter that the light is 1000watts. I was under the impression that they needed cfls for acouple days then put em under the big boys? Do you normally just putem under the 1000 watts or is that just because your using and autoflower strain??
I put them in at 10 and 12 days, soon as they showed sex, I put them under the big light. As for regular strains, this is my first indoor grow, I'm running 2 42w and 2 26w CFLs in my sprout/veg area(AKA the master bathroom) I run them 24/0, the HPS is on a 20/4 schedule till I finish my autoflowering run, then I have several photoperiod flowering plants I plan on growing, I have 14 femmed seeds of different strains, and 30 regular seeds of some other stuff, I'll be trying for a perpetual harvest, starting only 2 femmed seeds, or 4 regular seeds at a time. :rasta:
