Terrible Tragedy
Situation:
I was away on vacation for 5 days, my wife calls and informs me on day 2 that the fans that cool the lamps and ballasts stopped. The temp in the room got up to about 95 and was climbing. With no way to work on it from 2000 miles away, I sucked it up and told her to just pull the plug on all the lights etc.
The plants went 3 days without any light. I got home tonight and fixed the in-line fans and got the lights up and working again. The plants are drooping a bit and are a bit yellow but they seem like they may be savable.
Question:
Is this a total loss or will my ladies recover after 3 days of no light?

Might throw them into flower, depending if its a daintily strain or not. Happened to one of mine, worked well, 2 days later, it was flowering, but it will go back to veg if put back into veg light schedule. Might stunt for a couple days.

I agree with the above. Flowering is caused by a chemical build up inside the plant. It takes around 12 hours to get this chemical high enough to trigger flowering. Three days without light would amount to a lot of that chemical building in the cells of the plant. Thus it likely will show some flowering signs. However many people pre flower to sex the plant then return to Veg. So, you should be OK, BUT check for hermis like Washougalwonder said.

A few days into this now and they all seem to have recovered and are looking very healthy.
