Vitamin C to remove Chloramines?
Anyone use this method? Someone just told me about this in another thread.
They actually make vitamin C showerhead filters that will remove chloramines... check out the vitafitler!
But I just picked up some pure, powdered ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) at the vitamin shop. Should last for a LONG time. I've read on google that the dosage is 1000mg per 75 gal, so that comes out to about 13-14mg/gal.
Do you think plants would be pretty sensitive to this dosing? I don't have a digi scale so best I can do is eyeball and get to within 20-30mg? I wouldn't think this would be a danger to the plant at all as long as the pH is OK.... what do you think? C6H8O6 is ascorbic acid.
PEACE!
