T5 seedling setup(indoor too outdoor)

I want to try and get a 2' 4 tube fixture going for seedlings to get the ladies ready for thier outdoor life(lovely sea of corn). Im impressed with the veg results with the T5's. I have some nice organic fertz available ( pigeon, rabbit manure) wondering if anyone has had experience with them. Any tips on getting my plants outside in the spring with as little stress as possible as i plan on putting some money into genetics. Thank you for any input :)

-I am very interested in trying some bending this year is giving them a jumpstart of a month or so going to cause any growth issues?

Id get them outside here an there to get them used to the Sun. I would let them get about 2' tall too. Then, when you are ready to get them in the ground, id plant half of the plant deep into the ground with a bag of soil in first. This is my plan, so i hope it helps. Iv found the deeper you can plant them, the faster they adjust to the outdoor environment, also leaves at the nodes turn into more roots, which makes the plant develop faster IMO:rasta:

Alright so what your saying is grow them till there 2' or around there then plant them so 1' ( or half) is above soil. because they might accualy be closer to 3' by the time they get into the field.... some i may keep a closer eye on so ill be using the bending method and tending to them daily.

Theres a grow here a guy used a GPS a big gorilla grow. I think its here. If 3' cool, just put a lot in the ground, your not giving up hight, because it will grow faster. Roots will establish faster then if you used only the roots you grew. Give the plant more opportunity to grow roots, which your plants need while adjusting to its new environment, or home:cool:

Spread em out in there you know anything that gos by will see green. This guy with the GPS went only at night and had monsters. Keep an eye out too, cuz you dont want to plant, then watch em plow em under:buzz_saw: and know his harvest time too. Respect the farmer, as its his livelihood, so plant here there and try not to cut too many of his goods. They will get plenty of sun in a corn field.

Ya thanks, I ran pretty much the same grow last year except i was late in the season so i had like 8-9 ' with large spaces inbetween buds and the stems couldn't support the buds by the end of sept :( but it was a very good learning experience. going to get out early and dig my holes as the soil is heavy in clay.Ya last year i spaced them out nice 1 or 2 at a spot and i kept them pretty tight in the corn. I want to be on top of my fertz this year

If you looked through the thread i posted. Frosty used corn to hold up some of his plants. Plus if you get them planted deep it will give your plants a better base, i would think.

Yeah starting early will fix the problem of them not finishing. Sounds like you got a good plan:thumbsup:
