Nanotech and the end of the world.
In case you dont know what nanotech is here are a few links.

Basically, nanotechnology is he use of microscopic robots to manipulate objects on a molecular scale. Also, scientists say that these "nanobots" or nanites could be given the ability to self-replicate. This means that, theorietically, a swarm of nanites could exponentially expand, consuming all life on Earth. Just in case you were wondering, nanites run on carbon, what all life is made out of. That means, to self-replicate, they must consume carbon.
Nanites already exist, but they do not have the self-replication yet. It would be even worse if they were implanted with some kind of collective A.I.
However, if the nanites do not kill all life on Earth, here are some positive things that can come out of this:
Cures for almost all disease
Incredibly cheap and efficient manufacturing.
Overwhelming military might for the United States (cause we will be the first to figure it out :D )
Construction of a space elevator, which connects from a platform in the pacific to an international space station in orbit.
Fabrication of foodstuffs from raw materials like carbon.
Fabrication of pretty much any other substance.
Pretty much anything else that can be accomplished by the mass-scale altering of molecular structures.
To me, this would be the most important technological advancement in human history, and potentially more deadly than nukes.
Here is a link for that space elevator I was talking about:

Make sure to read the part entitled Stronger Than Steel.
Wont the future be cool (if we don't die)?
Nanotech and the end of the world.
holy shit. I had a post very similar to this one the other night. We're doomed :(
Nanotech and the end of the world.
Yeah that thread gave me this idea; it seems a little more realistic and closer to our time.
Nanotech and the end of the world.
I haven't heard of this stuff before now. That's crazy man. small little robots that can manipulate molecules? that's just too much power to put in the hands of something, even if that thing was a human being. that's almost to the point of playing god. wow
Nanotech and the end of the world.
these scientists is gona kill us all one day...
Nanotech and the end of the world.
Ah the so-called Grey Goo Scenario. Little molecular nanorobots tearing apart the Earth molecule by molecule, replicating themselves until the entire Earth is covered with nothing but a sludge of nano 'bots. Of course, this scenario is highly unlikely. These things require energy to work, and energy is not freely available. Freeze them, and they stop working; heat them up enough and they're permanently destroyed They would, therefore, be fairly easy to control. I've got more important things to worry about. Heh.

Bainbridge was a member of a sixties and seventies satanic cult, The Process Church of the Final Judgement now undercover as Best Friends Animal Society (do a google search for both if you don't believe it) Here are some of his quotes. It's shocking and if we don't wake up soon it will be too late! Maybe it already is.
" ... dogmatic religious opposition is not rooted in technical or humanitarian concerns, but in a view of existence that is incompatible with scientific progress.
There is no peaceful way to overcome such opposition, short of converting believers away from their strongly-held, literalistic faith. We must therefore anticipate a long period of overt conflict between secular advocates and religious opponents of cloning.
If the opponents succeed in establishing strict anti-cloning laws world-wide, then the conflict may become especially harsh with the real (and unfortunate) possibility of violence.
Those who believe that human reproductive cloning violates God's laws are unlikely to show tolerance for scientists who defy the supposedly sacred prohibition."

Manipulating Matter:
The Scientific Dictatorship as a Project
in the Reconfiguration of Reality
In the article entitled ??The Ascendancy of the Scientific Dictatorship? (Fall 2003 edition of Paranoia Magazine), we examined the transmogrification of the elite??s religious power structure into a technocratic oligarchy legitimized predominantly by science. The history and background of this "scientific dictatorship" is a conspiracy, created and micro-managed by the historical tide of Darwinism, which has its foundations in Freemasonry. In this article, we shall examine the ??scientific dictatorship? as an enormous project in the re-sculpting of reality itself.
The Technocracy
Freemason Aldous Huxley coined the term ??scientific dictatorship? and presented an allegorized version of the concept in his famous roman ??a clef entitled Brave New World. Huxley was mentored by Freemason H.G. Wells, who also presented a fictionalized ??scientific dictatorship? under the appellation of the ??Technocracy.? This is an interesting designation for a world government managed by functional elites and scientists. It is derived from the Greek word techne, which means craft. Given Wells?? membership in the Craft of Freemasonry, the synchronicity becomes apparent ...
I don't have the link handy, but if you want me to email you the complete article let me know.

Dude you just officialy wigged me the fuck out.
Nanotech and the end of the world.
Also well known as the "illuminati" or "illuminated ones" ;) , Galileo was one, according to his own admission (and no I did not get that from the stinking da vinci code or its prequel....).
BUT, Nanotechnology could never destroy or control earth no technology could. You see the Sun sends out these Huge things called Solar Flares which tend to electromagnetically fry massive amounts of technology on earth. Several years ago a major part of the midwest was blacked out by such a solar storm. The tongue(from the sun) was big enough that it actually reached out and "licked" earth.
Don't worry the matrix will never happen ;), The sun will see to it he he. "We have the humans on the run!" &%#$%&! Solar flaaaarrreeee ,.....daisy daaaaaiiiiissssyyy.......
