Hi i'm a complete newbie on this forum and a newbie at growing, does any know or think they might know which strain my plant is. I grew my other half's only seed and got this but he can't remember what plant it was from!! Stoner!! lol. Any clues would be great.Thanks in advance.
No one will be able to say much more then looks to be Sativa or Indica dominant. Unless you see various colors(like purple or really light blue). Reason being, There are THOUSANDS of strains.
Recently I was looking at a magazine in a local dispensary. There was an article which listed JUST the A, B, and C named stains. I assume D, E and F will be next month.:thumbsup:
Point is, the list had to be 80+ stains for each letter!
So, although someone here can tell you if it is mostly Indica, mostly Sativa or some middle area, Or if some distinguishing trait appears. It's about all you'll get. sorry:(
I'm kind of a NOOB! So, I'm not even sure the differences in those! :D

Someone will chime in with an Indica or Sativa comment soon though I hope. I'm trying to tell the diff too!:hippy:

Indicas have wider, more rounded leaves, with a marble like texture and look, and a sativa will give you more thin lengthy leaves with no real texture to the leaves. Judging by what a lot of other people are growing (including myself), I think its safe to say this is neither pure sativa, nor pure indica. I would say this plant is a more indica dominent, but is definately crossed with a sativa only because the leaves show more indica and the plant doesn't look very lengthy, like sativas normally are. Now all depending on the time you harvest, you could potentially end up with IMO real quality nug because your getting the best of both worlds ie. the "couch-lock effect" from the indica mixed with the "head high" from the sativa. Either way your in for a nice treat, and chances are you've probably already smoked the weed! so if you liked all of the weed you smoked from your other half, you won't be dissapointed.

I call it Bob...other than that you can't really ever know for sure like Vance & bcals said, even if your other half remembers the name he was told. Heck, I've even known people who ordered seeds from some of the resellers and got something completely different from what they were expecting. Only sure way to know is to get the seeds from the breeder themselves...

I only have approximately another week left and she's ready to harvest.
