DWC, Water level? Over fert prob.
I hope someone can help me fast before I lose my babies.
I??m using Hydroponics DWC system. Using General Hydroponic Flora nutes. 160w daylight fluorescents to start. 6?? by 8?? bathroom. Strain = Soma Lavender.
pH= 6.0
Humidity 15-25. (should I get a humidifier to get it up to 50-60?)
Room temp 68-78
Water temp 75 (should this be more around 68?)
I made two mistakes (pics below) #1 I over fertilized my young rooted clones, G.H. 3-2-1 TDS=842, solution.
#2, water level in DWC too high so root stem and grow plug were under water.
Two day ago I removed plants from bubbler, went back to manual flood 3 times a day in 2-2-1 solution of TDS 250. ( dip pots in the 250 solution for 10 seconds).
Yesterday (12/26) I flushed the 3? pots with Water only and put them under the dome.
WHAT CAN/SHOULD I DO?
Continue with manual F/D? (I dip them in solution for 10 seconds 3-4 times a day in a 2-2-1 TDS-250 mix).
Pull the plugs out of the pots and treat them like clones? (Dome/no dome?)(mist/no mist?)(heatpad/no heatpad?)
Put Plants back into Bubbler? If so, where should the water come up too? (bottom of pot?, bottom of grow plug? Somewhere in between?) (dome/no dome?)
These are pics from yesterday. Is it too late to save them?
Thanks for reading. I hope I gave enough info. Steve.

Where are your airstones?? water should be below the rooter plugs, depends on how much agitation you bubbles make
why change from 3-2-1 to 2-2-1 ?
little roots like that only need 200ppm, but right now they need flushed for a few days.
lower water temp to around 65F, let the plgs dry a little for a while, but you need to keep the roots damp-wet
need to raise the humidity, try misting every few hours. not sure about using a dome
hope this helps,good luck

Heres what you do next time (sorry man your clones do look fucked due to salt buildup that hasn't been flushed and can't be flushed in time):
- Keep clones in humidity tray using only 150PPM water max.
- Wait until clones have basically a head of hair of roots popping out of the bottom before you transfer them to (your clones have no roots as far as im concerned, they can't support all those leaves on top. usually clones will have 1 or 2 set of leaves that are pretty small until the roots pop).
- Err on side of caution and pH your solutions to 5.75 as best you can for clones and plants.
-When transferred to growing environment, start at 300 ppm max until the plant gets to about 6" tall.

Thanks guys. My babies are in the Bubble tub with plain 5.8pH water right now. (three 12" stones in bottom of tub) Going to keep there for a few days, then go with a 250-300 PPM solution. Should i cut the dead leaves off now? or have they gone through enough.
Also, I have 8 cutting from a Blueberry going right now. (two days old). Should I put into bubble tub as soon as I see roots poping through the Oasis cubes? I'm affraid they will dry out if I leave them in the tray.
Thanks again.

If it was me I would hold off trimming leaves, no need to add to stress. As for afraid things will dry out in tray, hand dunk them into water if need be. Hydro is no more automatic than soil is, in fact at times needs more attention than soil. You might not get your hands dirty but you will get them wet!!

I think you should make that tub light proof.

Do not trim the leaves off...You can clip the tips of the fan leaves where they are jacked up. But, when you cut or trim you will slow growth.
Just my thoughts on this.
