have any pics?
need more info.
you transplanted into RW blocks from what?
did you soak blocks first?
how often you water?
PH?
light, how much and what size?
and anything else you can throw in, the more you give the peeps that are reading this the more they can try and give back
they are watered every hour and a half. they were soaked before transplanted, and the PH is between 5.5-6.5. we have the temp at around 80 degrees. the older plants were transported from California as well as the younger, which might have caused it? they have light 18 hours a day, 1000watts.
Sounds to me like to much water, leaves want to get bigger but are loaded with to much. It cant hang yet..
Try cutting your watering times in half. every 3 hrs if problem persist take watering every 4 hours as needed.
If you experience any additional problems or have difficulty breathing please consult your thread.
thanks ill lengthen time in between watering.
wanted to also add, we're growing 3 types. Old Grandaddy Purple which is coming back to life, LA Social which is doing perfect, and Jackey whites which are the ones which seem to be drooping, but i didnt extend the time between waterings about 2 1/2 hours.
well I'm guessing your either running an E&F setup or drip, cant tell which since you never said. If it is E&F I flood mine about every 4 hours but only during "light" hours, flood lasts 15 mins from start to stop
by E&F do you mean you have a tub for your plants that you flood, if so thats what we're running. we flood every 2 1/2 hours until lights off. But we're using rock wool which I've heard you cant over water. I will try to get pics from my phone to show.
oh you can over water RW just about like everything else. RW holds water very well, in fact now that I dont use it anymore (clone in Rapid Rooter and right into Hydrotron) I have had zero algae when plants were small and creating no shade at base. RW also has a bad habit of holding salts very well too so Plain Ph'd water flushes every couple weeks wont hurt or you can spend more cash and buy some Clearex and do same thing.
and yes the tub thing that floods is E&F ( Ebb and Flow for those taking notes ......... there will be a test!!)
