never grown or used but have my card, broke my hip and allergic to opiods,so todat bought a 400hps inclosed ballast light/a 125watt compact flourescent light..10.. 1 1/2gallon pots, warrior soil/frog conditioner soil wormcastings/vermicilite/pearlite/ and nutrients I know i over bought but have no idea what Iam doing, so do I need all these nut's if so how and when do I use them,,, 1 humboldt grow and 2 bloom 3 humboldt micro 4 dueuce duece 5flavorful 6 humus 7 purple maxx 8 liquid vitamins 9seacal 10 seamag.11 honey es 12 verdre and 13 final flush I spent 1435$ at a hydro store in edmonds today,, because I need some help? ordered online 2 books growing for dummies and grow bible, but until then and I get them read help also my seeds arrived on monday NEXT Generation blue dynamite//gold seal grape god//and subcool agent orange so iam ready just need guidence, or a gun just kidding alittle overwhelmed right now,,plus I was going to ask the guy at the hydro store what to buy and right on the cash register it says if you have a mmj card dosent matter dont ask what you need>>

Ihave been reading and alot of people are using a ppm pen I didnt buy one of those I thought it was for hydroponics, do I need one??? I mean shit I bought everything else, smart pots and mylar and upgraded lights,, felt like a car dealershiper,by the time i left,, so do i need this ppm thing?

You will need something to check your ph and nute level. Accuracy is important, and generally the more it costs, the more accurate it is, as long as you calibrate it periodically. Its hard to give advice when you don't even know enough to have specific questions. Don't worry, we all started where you are. I would advise you to do nothing until you read at least one of your books. That will give you someplace to start, in fact you probably should have read a book before you went to the store. You bought some stuff you will probably never need. At a minimum, you shouldn't need to use any nutes until at least 2-3 weeks into veg. Happy growing!

Senorx is right. I have found that reading grow logs can be helpful, but the best way is to just keep it simple and grow a few plants. The more times you grow, the more problems will come up, yet this makes for great learning. It all adds up to experience and thats what every grower needs. Try not to stress yourself out, as its easy to do. Just try to read and learn as much as you can, so that when ya need help, the pro's in here will tell if you've done your homework. Thats important because they get tierd of answering the same questions all the time. But if you try to read up, the pro's will be a great help:thumbsup:

I have chronic pain and just couldn't make it w/o the narc's. I feel bad for ya cuz i know what its like. For me, after i use the narc's, i then can make it go away after i smoke, but w/o them the weed dosnt help that much. But i do have it really bad so i sorta need em, wish i didnt!

A little advice, you will want to get your grow area set up before you even start germinating the first seed, as it can take a lot of tuning to get the evironment correct and stable. For a 400w light, I'd recommend no bigger than a 4'x4' floor space. For the fuorescent I'd say no bigger than 2'x2'. Personally I'd set up 2 different areas: one at 3'x3'x6' tall for flowering with the hps and one that is 2'x1.5'x3' tall for vegging under the fluorescent. Make sure the lights are sturdily hung on something that allows you to adjust the height as the plants grow. You will need to check the temps with them all set up and running, and adjust ventilation fans until the ambient temps are within range (70-85F). Temperature will be a little higher when empty than when you have plants in there btw.

There are several growing styles that you can use depending on what your needs and resources are. All of these can be found here and the many other sites & books dedicated to growing mmj. SOG, or sea of green, is a method where you can harvest plants every 1-4 weeks, thereby giving you a constant, staggered supply of fresh product. You can also grow them all at once normally under the fluoro, then put them under the hps and flower that way. This style is the easiest but it also takes a while so there will be at least 2 months in between harvests. There's also various techniques throughout the forums for pruning and shaping plants to increase your yield by letting the light hit as many bud sites as possible but start simple and when you get more confident then you can try these advanced techniques.

Search the forums for grow logs where they are using the same wattage lights as you to get an idea of what you can do with them, the set ups seem to be mostly based around the lights. Good luck, & happy growing!

Looks like you got everything you need to get rollin'! :thumbsup:

You might want to look into a vaporizer. We used mmj administered this way, when my wifes condition eliminated smoking as an option. It's not for everyone, but for a non-smoker, seems like a good option.

Also, check out some recipes in the "edibles" threads! :thumbsup: You'll have to put up with some "weird" tastes, but the effect can be very long-lasting.

I like my Forghetti®. I made some cannabutter then cooked spaghetti noodles and tossed it with the butter, parmesan, garlic, italian seasoning, & red pepper flakes. After a plate of that I would sleep 15hrs+!
