disabled reputation? rep?

why is almost everyones rep disabled?.....I had green rep for a while then it turned disabled

how?

why?

just curious why some have rep and most dont?

You have to turn it on in the User CP, at some point it automatically gets disabled...

i was reading a closed thread about reputation just now. imo, rep is pretty pointless. just tell someone in the thread, "thank you!" i always disable it if i have the option.
