Nor Cal - Looking to make 1st trip to a dispensary

Hi, looking forpointers for a 1st trip to a dispensary.

I can travel to the Stockton or Saccramento Area this weekend for my first trip.

I work M-F and want to go this weekend. I got my rec from my regular "family" doctor, but that is all I have is a written form he signed. So now what?

They are open for verifications regular M-F business hours. Is there a way to get verified by tomorrow so this weekend I know before I take the drive I'm legit.

I have no intention of going to my county offices and getting some state verification so what are other options?

Is the paper signed by my doctor verification enough or how does this work?

Any recommendation for a good shop to go in Sac/Stockton type area?
