Who are the most "reliable" doctors in WA?
I have recently moved to WA and plan on getting back to using MMJ. Before I was covered for my mental illness, but recently have learned and overcome some physical illness. I am looking for a physician that is reliable since I can't really find anything solid online.
Also I was wondering if indeed GERD and re-occuring ulcers (which result in nausea, loss of appetite, weight loss, etc) count as a qualified condition at the moment here in Washington. Or if my history of the same symptoms but due to anxiety, would be enough to bring in.
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello matt,
Try this group here for your G.I. issues:
Hudsons bay medical group
100 East 33rd Street
Vancouver, WA 98663-2776
(360) 695-1334
Make an appointment to see dr. Phaff, bring all your G.I. records with you. He may require you to do an endoscopy, unless you have had one in the last 2 yrs. Also bring a copy of this document: http://www.aclu-wa.org/library_files...horization.pdf
Good luck
P.S. never talk to anyone but the doctor themselves about any MMJ authorization or issues. Also ask him to do a celiac blood test(as this has been known to cause the symptoms you have listed) Currently mental health issues are not covered at all in Wa., but your G.I. issues are fully covered.

Thank you! Would you recommend him as a G.I. doctor overall as well?
I am located near Seattle and the drive to make it would take a few hours so I would like to make sure it is worth the trip. If you could recommend someone closer it would be preferred, although I am not particularly interested in being a part of some MMJ clinic here, I will if they are trusted.
I've heard medical records from CA won't count as proof here in WA? They have to be from an MD here in the state, correct? I have had 2 endoscopies but only 1 was here in WA state. The 2nd endoscopy was only to see if my ulcers at the time had healed.
I will take your advice on the celiac blood test as I am not 100% sure about my diagnosis being correct. My status is very confusing due to the move and how different all the GI docs I have seen are (and medications not working well for symptoms).
I just wanted to say thank you one last time. It is VERY appreciated. I can't wait to become legal again.

It doesn't matter where your records are from, just as long as a licensed to practice medicine in Washington doctor signs the authorization and sees your records and verifies your condition..

Please keep in mind that to get a authorization from a doc in the box, All treatments and meds must have failed. Some people just don't understand that part of the laws requirements. And the clinic owner/operators that sell you the service(s) don't care because they are not liable for this, THE PATIENT IS !!!( I just spoke to the DOH MQAC about this very issue today. This is a huge issue)
Don't get caught with your pants down around your ankles. I have a court case on going(since 2007) in Grays Harbor which the state is going too this part of the law in my case, of course they will fail because of the celiac issue mentioned above. THE MEDS AND 20+ yrs of TREATMENTS HAVE FAILED, cali. records do work, just not for a doc in the box. Because they are just EVALUATIONS, not DIAGNOSIS per the plain lingo of the statute.
Notice how our courts and prosecutions have not reached this pat of the statutes yet. They started with other parts, like out-of-state dr.'s are a no go. Now they are working on denying a defense to patients before the court of appeals and the supreme ct. Next is the meds and treatment failures, then the search warrant and forfeiture of any property. And so on.
I do know UDUB has a gasto-G.I. dept. ran by Dr. Carter, that may be an option. The important thing is get the diagnosis authorization signed, because the I am treating this patient authorizations are a joke, because this document opens a door of liability upon the patient. Where as the other does not.
Good luck

I think I have a pretty good long documentation going for me of traditional medication, and some alternative therapies as well, not working. Of course my diagnosis could just be wrong... but I thought I had gotten all the allergy tests done. I will have to look at my own medical records. I'm not as experienced with the world of GI doctors but the only way I was even able to get anything done was through my own research. I'm starting to get the impression I have something much more serious that is being undetected causing my GI problems.
Personally when it comes to psych meds I've done em all except MAOI's. I really mean all of them. You name it, I've been on it. As for GI meds I don't know what I can do besides what my docs have told me (diet changes, etc) and the PPI's + H1's to help for stomach acid and Reglan for the nausea. This mess is really getting annoying and I just want to get back on the medicine I know works, and get my insides figured out.
Sorry for the rant, just tired of dealing with the health industry in the US. I think I will ask my current GI off-record for her opinion. Hopefully her young age will reflect the progressiveness of the generation. Good luck to you as well. I'm heading back to LA for the holidays and I think it should improve my hopes for the med community here. Happy Holidays to all and take care.

Hey matt,
You are not ranting at all, this is important for us all to get to the truth beyond the profits. It has taken me 35+ yrs to grab the damn bull by the horns and take it the ground single handedly for my health and life sake.
I have almost died on multiple occations because of stupid ass dr.'s who just do some B.S. normal test and say, James sr sorry, we find it's all in your head try this. OMG WTF? Turned out I have celiac disease with combined multiple out in space food allergies. I don't know what's keeping me alive anymore, and neither do they. God's good grace I imagine.
I have taken allergy tests which came out just fine, then I researched and found out, the test was the wrong one's. Damn idiot's do this here that there, and imagine that, they came up positive, now dr. EAT MY SHORTS ASSBITE.
From what you have put here, I can surly say, your getting hosed. Get an IGA blood test, Cassian test, egg white test, shell fish test, food dye test, preservative test, soy test. If you don't want to deal with that, cut out all red meat, pork, eggs, cows milk(I cut out all milk entirely) all shell fish, soy, chocolate/cocoa bean, all corn products.
CELIAC is a hidden epidemic in the U.S., most western medicine dr.'s get 20 minute book sessions in the celiac diagnosis program. They got trained it is a sucked up disease, fail to thrive only. Well, in our day and age, the shit they put in, use on our foods are POISONS that just slowly eat our immune systems away. Everyone's immune system is located in the small intestine, exactly where celiac is. HMMMMMMM? see the nexus?
Now it is I who have rambled on. But, tis great info. to ramble on about, just as cancer treatment is to a cancer patient, who just got told by their dr. your going to die, go shopping.

This is one of the great things about the internet. You can become more educated than your doctor on medical issues. And it pays to do the research. Inever take a new prescription without checking the internet to find out all the side effects of these poisons.

killerweed420,
Your a right on brother. I really like you, not in a gay way either.:rasta::pimp:
I have seizures from food brother, get a load of that shit. I went and saw a neuro-physician after I went to the immunity doc. The neuro dude give me a script for my seizures(I already knew what was causing it) because he said my immunity doc was full of shit. So I asks him what scientific medical evidence you got that justifies this script? Since all my neuro tests came out I am fine, no issues.
This retarded fuck says to me, (I am captain neuro and I say so.) I just think from my past experiences with seizures that you have a serious disorder, WTF? I say to him, but, my immune scientific results point here, here and there. He replies to me, your immune doc don't know shit, he's an idiot.....If It wasn't against the law, I would have knock this foul into the next centery in a heart beat.
Their is nothing more fucken irritating than some chump like this trying to kill my ass on a hunch because he thinks he is gods gift to the medical community. I looked up the meds he wrote in the script, OHHH for sure would have killed me within days. WARNING DO NOT TAKE IF: describes my conditions......needless to say, I told him FUCK YOU !!!!
