Are you a beer or a liquor person?

I find that for me, it depends on the mood. Sometimes i just want to chill out after classes are done and drink a newcastle or maybe I'll feel like getting crazy and down some jim beam.... who knows. But are any of you on either side of the fence for this issue? :) Goes to grab a brew

I vote beer. After work or after school, nothing is better than an ice cold beer and a fat bone.

When I have money, I drink heineken. when I don't, i drink Miller High Life or Busch or Keystone.

Read the "favorite beers" thread just below this one to find out the best beers the world has to offer.

But if I'm feeling really wealthy, sometimes I buy Grey Goose or Belvedere. That's usually only on special occasions, like birthdays.

But yeah my vote goes to beer - the cause and solution to all of life's problems.

yea, but i take a few more steps backward:

when im broke i get natty ice, and when im feelin wealthy i get a bottle of jack, grey goose, or my favorite "wild turkey", cant got wrong with that. then maybe a 30 case of high life, or heineken, or corona

well when i drink, i drink to get drunk so i just go for the harder stuff like vodka or whisky. but i do enjoy a cold beer once in a while but i dont get drunk on it, it would just be too much work, id have to drink like 12 beers to get drunk when i could just do like an equal number of shots of vodka.

if it comes to liquor than its either whiskey or rum for me.

I don't usually drink but if I do it is likely vodka or tequilla.

tequilla(must be quality), dark rum(cheap is fine), whiskey(jim, mist, jack), or if i want to drink straight liquor w/o a chaser i'll get some 100 proof southern comfort....mmmmmm

Whiskey to sip on... Old Forester, Wild Turkey, and some Russian Vodka (I have a buddy from Russia...) every now and then. But, most of the time I drink a beer or two. I hate getting drunk off of just hard alcohol. I have to mix (I learned from my parents). I already know that stupid ass saying. I always do beer before hard alcohol.
