hey every buddy i haven't been on the forums in a while haven't had a chance
to do a grow due to living in apartments and rent houses. now i got my own
house and have started a grow with 33 lil seedlings no exact genetics just
green that i have gotten of the the past 3 years i would get a Q with one seed
in it.
i have 400 watt hps and i was wondering when i can put the hps over the
seedling and how far up from them? ill post some pics here in a few hours
You can do it now if you want, but start at least a foot away to acclimatize them to the intensity. It's like if you start plants inside you don't want to throw them outside right in full sun at first or it'll shock em, possibly to death.

what size box or room are you running? what is your ventilation?
but a lonely ol' 400 for 33 seedlings doesnt seem like enough light...? maybe im wrong.
yes some one plz tell me if thats not enough, but i had it like 2 feet above the and they still seemed to be taking some damage.
the room is 12 by 10 and they are on top of a dresser, i have a tower fan
i switched them back to the flo tubes and cfls for now, i figured i
would wait a couple more weeks to see what happens.
they are separated, the ones that arent doing so hot i put in the grow box i used for my previous grows that is temp. controlled stays at 77 with a cool box with 6 big cfls and they are already looking better
