just wondering what everyone thinks the minimum age to have a trip should be. I tripped my first time two weeks ago and am 16.
I am not so sure if shrooms are bad to do early on but I will most likely wait till i am 17-18 for acid (if i even try it then)
If you can handle shrooms, you can handle acid. Age doesn't have that much to do with it, a friend had a bad trip on 2C-I recently, and she's 25. Has more to do with when and where you trip.
in a book by timothy leary i think politics of ecstasy, he guaruntees (sp?) that one day first graders will be given acid as a learning aid lol
it all depends on the person. just like not everyone is responsible enough to drink when they're 21, and some people are ready by the time they're 16...
Kinda like I said, some people are ready to trip at 16, some never will be. Don't worry, if you can't handle it even that teach you something. But I think you can.
i've done mushrooms...they were just really weird and psychotic. but i've always thought that lsd was way more powerful than mushrooms.
my friend gave my sister 1 mushroom cap last time we shroomed because she wanted to try it, and she was having a blast playin at the park and then she fell in dog shit and freaked out and went home and started cutting her wrists, she was fine but she could have killed herself.... that brought us all down big time, she is 16.
i dont think there is a certain "age" when people should be ready to trip, different people mature at different rates and you have to be mature enough to handle the drug.
jerry garcias daughters first trip was when she was 1 and a half, cuz jerry left some shrooms out on a table and she ate them lol
^ yeah dude I just heard that a few days ago. that would be so weird being tripping at that age.
Well I shroomed three times within my spring break (a lovely two week break). every time was great. I just was wondering about maybe it affecting brain developement. People always say shit like it makes ur brain bleed, or stuff like it makes your spine go into ur brain. Just creeped me out.
The last trip satisfied me for a while though so I hope not to shroom at least until a month, although keeping myself away may be harder than I wish due to friends wanting to shroom.
You could eat fugu while your tripping.
If prepared right it is a delicacy.
