trouble doing hydro

hey there, im a medical marijuana caregiver in montana ive been growing for years with soil and have pretty much mastered it if you can see by my profile pic. anyway i started doing some hydro, i have a flood and drain system for the plants for a few weeks vegging after the cloner and then i move them into individual drippers or these aeroponic buckets i made. I am using advanced nutrients and have the whole veg line ( sensi grow A and B, Voodoo juice, F-1,H-2, Carbo Load, pirahna, tarantula, sensi zym, B-52 and some more)and i have my veg under a 600 W metal Halide and a 600w HPS. my plants are growing really well i had trouble at first becuase i gave them to much ferts. and i went and got a PH/Ec/PPM meter, i am able to keep my ph at 5.2-6.2 which is good, the water temp at 70-75 degrees and the ppm just under 2000 (1400-2000) but all my stems are dark purple, the plant is growing well a little nutrient burn on the leafs but not to bad. i know its not the strain becuase there the same strains ive been growing for years. in soil when my stems get purple in veg growth i add some epsom salt to the water and ta-da it goes away, unfortuntally its not working for the hydro and now my leaves are starting to sag and growth is getting slow, i need some help with this. i will put pictures up soon.



P.S. when they move into the individual dripper the new growth has stayed green (stem) but theyve only been in the dripper for like 5 days so ill keep you updated on that. the ppms are also much lower in the dripper becuase i learned by mistake about how overfertalize hydro way to easily, it took me alot flushes to get my ppm down in the flood and drain.


P.S. again i use R.O. water from my warehouse so i know its not a water problem
